Being early on a kid will keep a school like NIU in the hunt a lot longer than otherwise. Heck, that's true of just about any school that's not one of the 15 or so glory programs in the country.

I have heard we offered WR Steven Williams from Belle Glade, Fla. No further info.

Don't know if you guys saw this, but the top QB in the nation committed to... INDIANA of all places. Anything is possible.

Being from a private HS, it's easy to see why Eatherly would have a preference for a mid sized private university located in a large city that plays it's home games in the air conditioned comfort of an NFL stadium. Lots of quality O lineman available and the Huskies have done well the last 2 years in picking up replacements for this year's graduating class.
