Lighter again this morning.

And I found the tea homerun: Vanilla chai tea mixed with half and half with a few packets of Equal. Tastes like a milkshake ... 0 carbs.

Sounds like a good time to purchase one. Make it digital so you get more precise numbers.

Bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit without the bottom half of the biscuit. I prepare breakfast at work, so it needs to be zero effort.

I put more effort into it at lunch, and may actually prepare a proper cooked meal for dinner.

Iceberg lettuce salad drowning in ranch dressing with bacon with leftover steak with a vanilla chai latte. Carbs: 0

But I'm going very very low on carbs today because I'm going to misbehave at the bar tonight. Tonight is shot night ... and mixers will kill ya. One shot of curacao is 22g of carbs. ONE SHOT! Mmmmm liquid biscuit! I'll try to keep it to the distilled liquors (vodka, rum, whiskey, etc) as they're 0 or near 0 carbs.

distilled liquors are the only ones i ever drink. although i rarely drink, so it doesn't really matter

RE: Fat America
i have another question. on mr. fathead's blog he talks about things that you should eat and things you should avoid. He always mentions salt with the latter. Is salt bad, or is salt ok as long as you're not adding table salt to your food?

i have another plea for advice. i've found that since starting this diet, i've been starving more often. tonight i ate dinner at 8:00/ i had 5 sausages a bunch on cooked onions (cooked in olive oil). It's now 10:30 and i'm pretty hungry. Did i not eat enough calories? What should i have done differently?

RE: Fat America
So -- even sleeping wayyyyyy in (2PM) during snowpocalypse and destroying my metabolism for the day ... I still lost a quarter pound.

But on days when I exercise early in the morning ... I lose TWO pounds.

Still averaging a pound a day every day for almost 2 weeks now. And I find 100g of carbs is just enough to keep me happy. I can have one of my rare sodas in a day. I can still have a sandwich or chips when I want it in a certain meal of the day.

I find that if I have a multivitamin in the morning ... the hunger suppression of the diet is much stronger.

Easy cardio (recumbant bike ... right in front of a TV/computer monitor.

Progressive resistance. People who do weights that feel reallll big and bad should try it. They'll feel like puny little weakling girl. You'll find out just how much you're using momentum to help you when using weights.

I'd say you're getting too many carbs from somewhere.

I'm just a nudge away from -15 ibs in two weeks.

I've found the best diet! Don't eat for 2 weeks, and stay on a saline IV solution.... I dropped from 145 to 110 that way! :) (of course, having your stomach, intestines, and a few other major organs removed, and put back helped too!)

i pretty much eat 0 carbs. Believe me, it isn't carbs. Breakfast is normally 1 egg, a few sausages and a few strips of bacon. Lunch is usually leftover meat from dinner, with vegetables like cauliflower or broccoli. I don't eat much fruit and I never eat any sweets or junk food. I do eat a lot cheese though. Dinner last night was beef stew with onions and carrots, with whipped cauliflower on the side. Lunch yesterday was 2 cheese burgers (no buns) and cooked onions with just a little bit of mayo, ketchup and horseradish on each one. The only place i ever get any carbs from is peanut butter (natural, no sugar or anything) or pistachios, both of which i don't eat many of. In the last 10 days, i've had no potatoes, no pasta and no processed food. Most of the meat i eat is not grass fed, it's just regular, but there's not a lot i can do about that without having to spend a ton money

I don't ever exercise, but mr. fathead himself said that exercise has not been sufficiently linked to weight loss so it shouldn't matter that much.

RE: Fat America
just wanted to mention that i've now lost about 10 pounds since starting this diet around 1.5 months ago. If you told me then that i'd be 166 by February 21st, i'd have been pretty pleased with that. if i actually exercised, I could be 155 easy, and that would be perfect

Grass-fed is regular meat. It's the grain-fed/corn-fed stuff that is completely unnatural.

Anyways, if you look on Groupon Birmingham there is a deal (good through Thurs., I believe) for $75 worth of organic food from Nature's Prime for $35, flash frozen and delivered to your door. They have grass-fed steaks and burgers, as well as organic chicken, pork, lamb, line-caught salmon and halibut, etc. I am definitely buying one.
