This is the logical implication of Faith Based Initiatives. Do you think that those that think the constitution and bill of rights don't mean something are not upset by this? The hypocrites are the ones that champion Faith Based Initiatives when it benefits Christians, but not when it benefits Muslims.

This is a faith based initiative?

From the ones I've read about faith based initiatives tend to get funding after being proven to be effective after some years operating w/o the gov't.

I would argue that what Islam has been effective at is nothing any gov't in the US should be funding.

We have to be more diverse , c'mon guys and we do need to help them build this mosque....
We know how tolerant the Muslim people are just give them their rightfull money ???
New York is a very liberal place and they want everyone to feel right at home, then they
can start with sharia law... We should donate , I wish Genreal MacArther could see this,

IF it gets built, I hope it gets wired like a pinball machine with microphones, cameras, electronic surveillance devices of all kinds, just like the US Embassy in Moscow.
