Temple to Rose Bowl!
No, its not an AIrportKC or JHG delusion- some guy from SI actually paints a scenario for this.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/wr...index.html

Argument could be made, I suppose, for whomever wins the MAc fi they take out some BCS teams on the way and win out in the MAC. So, I say "Go Temple! Beat PSU!"

After they lose to Villanova for a second straight year then you can flush this wishful idea down the toilet!

I hope it happens. As a MAC fan living in Philly, I can't imagine how much fun it would be for the invincible Nittany Lions to lose to not only a MAC football team, but Temple. Love. It.

You realize of course, that hoping that it happens means you hope that BG loses in the East. I fully understand that line of thought but due to your previous, long-term confusion about where BG should stand in the overall scheme of things, I was somewhat surprised at this moment of clear, logical and correct thinking.

I think its more of a hope of a Sept 25th TEmple win against PSU then an October 16th win first BG... and Lets all be honest ... we are all still enjoying this article...

http://templefootballforever.blogspot.co...-ones.html

and really looking forward to the game finally being played again this year...

"Things have changed a little since then, Karl..."how nice to have an extended scrimmage every year ...against an overmatched opponent that actually counts in the standings," Smith wrote .."

and teh follow up on deadspin.... http://deadspin.com/sports/college-footb...210880.php

Oh and because I missed the piece I went out of my way and found the archive... http://web.archive.org/web/2005102914415...76717.html

Well, BG doesn't get many opportunities to beat the Penn State's of the world and he'd like to see a MAC team besides "Bancroft High" beat them. God knows, the "BGSU" Falcons aren't going to anytime soon. So now Karl's a Temple fan. Ouch, VE- you got a long memory! 03-lmfao

How's this for a scenario?
Temple takes down UConn and UConn wins the Big East.
Temple takes down Penn State and PSU wins the Big 10.
Temple takes care of business in the MAC and Nova.
I'd love to blow up that BCS computer with those numbers.

Not a slam on you, but that scenario has about as much chance as Webster changing the word, "riDICulous" to "riCOCKulous!"
