nice win for the Knights. I wish they would play Mercer in basketball and baseball. I loved when Mercer played UCF because I knew so many people at that school.

RE: 2010 Atlantic Sun Baseball
Lipscomb at Stetson - Stetson swept 3-0
Belmont at FGCU - FGCU swept 3-0
ETSU at Campbell - ETSU swept 3-0
USC Upstate at Mercer - Mercer won 2 of 3
conference records through April 25 - FGCU 17-4, Stetson 11-4, UNF 10-5, ETSU 12-6, Jacksonville 9-6, Mercer 9-9, Kennesaw State 7-8, Belmont 7-11, Lipscomb 5-10, Campbell 5-16, USC Upstate 4-17
Looks like we have a decent idea of who 5 of the 6 teams in the tournament will be with Mercer and KSU dueling for the last spot; Belmont and Lipscomb not necessarily out of it either. Upstate is ineligible and we can stick a fork in Campbell after this weekend.

Hopefully Mercer can pull out the 6th spot, or sneak a 5th spot since they own tiebreakers over ETSU/JU.... but in all honesty I don't know if they have what it takes to win a tourney. Taking only 2 of 3 from USC-U is a bad sign.

Whoops, I got that wrong, ETSU only took 2 of 3 from Campbell, so ETSU is 11-7 and Campbell is 6-15.

oh and I think Kennesaw and Mercer have a series this weekend... so that's pretty much the whole season on the line..

Florida Gulf Coast soared up the RPI ranks with their current 4-game series @ Clemson. They won game 1 and that took them to #61, now they've lost the next two (blowing one late lead). If they can win today it would do a lot for their postseason hopes.

The ASUN moved past the MVC to #16 in the overall RPI. The ASUN is finishing strong led by FGCU. Mercer has now won 6 straight. The tournament is gonna be wild. FGCU's ace Sale is still the beast that might be unbeatable... but if he goes down then FGCU goes down.
