UNF 67, Mercer 77---FINAL
Hopefully will be a comfortable win... but this game could be tougher than expected.

RE: UNF 67, Mercer 77---FINAL
James Florence did not start, or play in the game. He sat out with his ankle injury.
The rest of the team was not phased. Emerson was a man among boys scoring over 20, and pulling down at least 18 rebounds. Brandon Moore was not far behind scoring around 20 and pulling down near 10 boards.
The entire team played out of their minds with the shorter bench and lack of Florence. Kusnyer started cold, but heated up and was hitting big time shots. Jeff Smith ran the point beautifully, only making a few mistakes that I know had to bother him. His positives far outweighed the few mistakes. Mark Hall also was a great ball handler & hit a couple 3's.
Brendan Walker made the start in place of Florence and his game was solid. Made a big shot while getting fouled at one point.
Mills foul trouble limited him in this game, a problem that had held his game back a lot lately. If I could offer him a suggestion it would be to control the frustration. He's showing all his anger and frustration on the court at every foul call. That's Coach Hoffman's job to hassle the refs and complain on your behalf. The other team is getting confidence when they see you with your head in your hands. You're better than that and everyone knows it, trust me! Some of the calls are BS for sure too, just roll with it. We need you, because when you're in a lot of good things happen.
Mercer now 14-13, 10-7 ASUN.
