OT - Holiday Desecration?
I have no idea if this happened, as I didn't watch Charlie Brown Christmas this year, but if so (and it's entirely believable), then shame on ABC. The irony is incredible.

Ewww!

I personally would like to kick a certain wireless provider in the neuticles for ripping off the classic stop-motion "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" in their ads.

How can they not be ashamed to make commercials out of a beloved program that's been on the air for decades and produced classic holiday songs like Burl Ives' "Holly Jolly Christmas"?

How is it possible they've done this for multiple years without hearing from outraged consumers?

Oh, wow. I didn't catch Charlie Brown Christmas either, but if that's true, it's perfectly awful. 04-chairshot

FWIW, Charlie Brown Christmas is on again now and appears to have put back in the parts they took out last week.

Dynamo - Do you remember what channel you were watching?

I'm curious if they've truly fixed things. I recently spoke with a friend who can confirm that the showing 2 weeks ago was missing those scenes, as he watched it with his young daughter.
