That reminds me of an incident when I was at ASU.
One of the foreign student groups sent a list of 'DEMANDS' to the newspaper. They DEMANDED more respect, more attention, etc. I can't remember the details, but my thought was, "So what? What are you going to do? Leave? Ok, see ya."
I would have written a letter to the editor stating as such, but why bring on the trouble? Furthermore, it probably would have garnered more sympathy for them. Instead, ASU's apathy just made the whole thing go away.
