As big of one as when the oil companies shove millions of dollars into the pockets of "scientists" that go on to claim there is no global warming.

Ok, so when did this happen?

You keep making these claims Robert...I want to see some evidence to demonstrate they're facts. That's the part you never really do. That's why your ideas are routinely considered stupid.
Go look it up. Many of the "gw is a hoax" guys are working for(thus being paid by) big oil and the coal industry. I am not making this up.

Ah, so now you want me to do your work for you. But you're not making it up!

Could you please show me where in my post I said "global cooling". I didn't. I said there will be AREAS that get cooler because of global warming not the ENTIRE globe. I still believe much of the globe will get warmer.

So we don't need to do anything to reverse warming. Seems Robert agrees, the earth takes care of itself.
I didn't say that. Obviously that southern edumacation isn't serving you very well. I said AREAS will get cooler not the ENTIRE planet.

No. I am not making it up. I could find an article or 2 about it but you wouldn't believe it even if I did so why even bother?

I don't get it. If conservatives and southerners are the ones that are stupid and less intelligent, why is it that it's us who are trying to keep the government small and leave us be to live our lives the way we see fit, yet it's you libs who can't live without the government's help, I.e. welfare, free education, free healthcare, etc.? It's Robert trying to copy cb where everything is funny if you put the stir the pot icon after it. You don't need to use actual facts or references. You just put in a cheeky icon, and everyone knows that you're smart and the other guy is dumn.

No, you are like a walking moron. Let me try this one more time. Maybe your little brain(Not sure you have one but I will pretend) can understand. The winters become slightly warmer but the months going into and out of winter cool down. Lengthening the amount of time there is cool. The one thing you don't understand(incapable of understanding?) is that one area of the world could be down a few degrees and another up slightly more than the area that went down. Thus making the Earth warmer despite one area actually getting cooler.

For example. You live in Georgia. Lets say the avg temp on a particular day is 75 degrees. But when they take the temperature, it is 79 degrees. THe temperature is up 4 degrees over normal. Now we go to Chicago. THe avg temp is 32 degrees the same day. But lets say the high is 31 degrees. That means 1 degree below the avg. for the day. So if you have an increase in 4 and a decrease in one, what do you have? You still have an increase in temperature. So yes, there can be global warming at the same time there is a decrease in one or a few parts of the world.

Just saying that the conservative ideas about no or very little government are stupid(though, I have to say too much of government is not a good thing either).

I have a question that I haven't heard asked in this whole debate....What is the normal average temperature of the Earth? I don't mean what is normal for the last 50 or 100 years. I mean forever. Science tells us that the Earth is Billions of years old, and that the earth has gone through numerous periods of warm (dinosaurs) and cool (ice ages), so I ask again, what is the normal average temperature of the Earth?

Alot of that is addressed here,

with some additional commentary that was excluded from the wider public discourse. See in particular what he calls the "spaghetti graph".
