RE: gameday
I've seen both Temple and Ohio play this year and I believe Temple has the advantage primarily due to their defense. I can see Ohio struggling to generate much offense, which will leave their defense on the field too long.

If Ohio's QB can scramble on pass plays and gain some yardage on the ground it might even things up a bit. The Linc really is a good place to watch a football game.

Not according to the NCAA. Temple is 9th in the conference in attendance, behind CMU, WMU, NIU, OU, UT, BSU, BGSU and UB.

Wishing death upon somebody is pretty much against the AUP.

Let's try to stay away from such comments.

even public figures who drug women and are all around creeps?... Its not like i said I hope someone hurts him or anything????

Its exactly what it is... Temple fans are real ...just cause some guy puts on a sweater and looks like a good guy on TV and drew a cartoon about a fat kid doesn't mean they are a good person. He is what is wrong with America in general, so darn worried about everyone else he doesn;t even take the time to look in the mirror.

IT's got to be just like every year come day light savings time... you hold your breath hoping your city doesn't get burned down... can;t people jsut forgot what happened so many years ago???

anyways time to go to the "game" in the most fantastic city in the world ... for ESPN's sake I hope Ohio makes a game of it... no real sports on this Tuesday night and a route would just be ugly.

Yes, even wishing death on public figures with whom you disagree with is inappropriate.

Please refrain from such. Thank you.

Temple's defense is fantastic. Statistics only mean something at the end of the year when everyone has played each other... or at least close to it. At the end of the year the Temple defense will be top#5 in every category and #1 in several categories. Temple has played very well and close to the top teams in the MAC. They will roll tonight because AD will lead the team to victory, he is just that good. IF he doesn't play or is not 90%+ then all bets are off.

Temple is a good team. They haven't gotten things to go their way... that's what bad teams do on their way to winning. IT will take time but the talent and athletes are there. Its a perfect stage for them to come to life.

Unfortunately Bill Cosby is expected to be there... hopefully he will will leave his pill case at home and soon join the army and help win this iraq war!!! and leave his fortune to the university.

ok, so let me get this straight...

statistics only count at the end of the year (unless, of course, YOU are using them to make a point or a reasonable facsimile thereof).

you have a one-man team as evidenced by the fact that you said if your QB doesn't play, "all bets are off."

you say Temple is a top university despite the fact that US News' most recent rankings has Temple University ranked in the bottom 50% among national universities.

did i get everything right?

A little jabbing on game day is to be expected, but smack belongs on the Smack Board.

Outdraw MAC schools in what? It isn't football. Maybe when you guys get Penn State at your place and count all their fans as your attendance.

Your attendance so far has been:

Connecticut - 17,194
WMU - 17,624

That's not tops in the MAC.

Temple's defense currently ranks #1 in no defensive statistical category. NIU currently owns the #1 spot in most defensive categories. We have the best defense.

Facts don't work with this Temple fan.

If you want to read more laughter then go to the Temple rivals site. It's always good for quite a few laughs.
