RE: Rockets!!!
Toledo gets Ohio State at a neutral field next season. We return most of our team, only 10 seniors on the entire team, and I think only 4 of them are starters.

Ohio State is much better than Michigan though, but hopefully we will get an offense to go with our defense next season.

I'm not sure Michigan could win either division of the MAC this year.

Maybe the East.

BSU fans are chanting...

We want UofM (at the MCB).

I'll tell ya, I don't see anyway Michigan gets to 6 wins. They are REALLY bad. Rich Rod will be run out of town next year if this doesn't change fast. I never liked the hire. Les Miles should be at Michigan and would be had LSU not played in the NC game. Ironically, it was Rich Rod's WVU team losing to Pitt that made that happen. The spread offense at Michigan is BS.

Michigan isn't going to run Richrod out of town after two seasons, Bo's first two years Michigan struggled and Richrod's first two years at WVU they were under 500 as well.

Really? They finished both of Bo's first two seasons ranked in the top 10 going 17-4 including the famous win over #1 Ohio State in 1969. That's struggling?

Rich Rod is NOT the right man in Ann Arbor.

Was Joe Nowak the right man for NIU? I recall his teams losing for several years before the Huskies turned into a formidable team.

Yes. But Smokin Joe inherited a terrible team. Michigan is loaded with talent, but that talent just isn't being used correctly. Nice win Toledo, but don't get too cocky, cuz the Huskies are next, and we owe your boys some serious payback. 05-stirthepot

Yes, thank you. I was going to write nearly the same thing. What a silly statement Okie. It's not even close to comparable.

Congrats UT and the UT fans! UM is as obnoxious at OSU when it comes to the arrogance they show and to see you take them down was great.

A great win for UT and the MAC...

The only "down-side" of this fantastic win is that contractually, the Rockets now have to phuck the Michigan cheerleaders. Oh, wait, they already did --- 13-10!

I was at the game and actually, for the most part, their fans were gracious host.

Oh man, do you owe us payback. Years and years of payback. The kind of payback that will take a looooong time to get anywhere near even. Unfortuantely, this looks like a good year for you boys to get the job started. We can't score and you aren't letting anyone score. Of course it is UT-NIU so we always have a chance....04-rock

That may be...but it's been my experience that UM fans are pretty arrogant. Here's a quote from the Free Press blog:

Where does this loss rate among the biggest defeats in Michigan history?

It's worse than Appalachian State because Toledo came to town with a 1-4 record, a team that's probably incapable of finishing in the top half of the Mid-American Conference. This was worse because you could conceivably attribute the Appalachian State loss simply to Michigan's own arrogance -- that they took for granted a championship team from a smaller collegiate division. Losing to a MAC team for the first time in this program's rich history is something that won't be easily forgotten anytime soon.

RE: Rockets!!!
I think that Michigan Fans are cocky, but they are an older crowd. However, they are arrogant in Ann Arbor, and they are arrogant in Traverse City. They don't realize that they suck. They believe that they are superior beings.

When I walked out of the game, some were good natured, and others looked absolutely stunned.

Now a plug for Toledo:

Our record may be bad, but Toledo has Balls. Toledo was one of the first MAC teams to knock the chip off of Marshall's shoulder. Toledo Beat Penn State in Happy Valley. Toledo got Pitt, Purdue, Minnesota, etc.

Toledo has a certain "street" mentality that makes for a day like Saturday, which was surreal. Thank You Opelt, Moore, Stiegerwald.
