Herbert saves Amstutz after he decided to try a fake punt when Toledo was taking over the field position game. That gave UM the ball at the UT 33 yard line. We dodged a bullet.
Unfortunately our great kick coverage gives UM the ball around midfield after the kickoff.
Almost another INT, this time Lester Richmond, but he couldn't hold on. 4th and 10 at the UT 40 for Michigan. I think they are going to punt, timeout Toledo. About 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter.
Looks like I turned it on just in time for an awful ball spot giving UM a first down when they went for it on 4th, then they missed an obvious UM block in the back.
10-7 Michigan now after the field goal. Our offense hasn't scored in over 7 quarters of play, as our 7 points in this game was an INT returned for a TD. The offense has to get something going!

Michigan is horrible and Toledo has a chance to make MAC history
If there were ANY year for a MAC team to take down the Whinerines, this is it. Toledo still has a good chance to make history in the second half, but they can't keep shooting themselves in the foot.
Michigan is absolutely awful. How in the world did they play one good half of football against Wisconsin?
I'm not sure Michigan could win either division of the MAC this year.

Please beat Michigan. It's a marquee win even if the team is no good. It's all about name recognition, and Michigan is one of the biggest in that department.

I'll tell ya, I don't see anyway Michigan gets to 6 wins. They are REALLY bad. Rich Rod will be run out of town next year if this doesn't change fast. I never liked the hire. Les Miles should be at Michigan and would be had LSU not played in the NC game. Ironically, it was Rich Rod's WVU team losing to Pitt that made that happen. The spread offense at Michigan is BS.
Tied at 10 going to the 4th Qtr. Michigan started the 2nd half with their backup QB in, because Threet was in-effective. This is where the difference in depth could start affecting the game. Let's hope the Rockets can stay in it and find a way to win.
This is great for the MAC.
