Bad wreck on Poplar this am
Did anyone hear about this on the news?
I was taking my little grandaughter to the Children's Museum this morning and came upon it.
It was a horrible crash with one car over turned, one across the street in a yard and one more car really smashed.
I was luck to get to turn off before getting any closer since I had a child with me but I was close enough to see a body bag beside the upturned car or SUV.
I have been shook up ever since.
I have not been able to shake the feeling of sorrow for a family and maybe more than one who has had their life turned upside down.
Please people, we joke about the bad drivers but it is no joke.
Take it easy, go the speed limit and signal when you turn.
We have to be no where bad enough to rush and speed and maybe lose your life or take one.
I hope I am horribly wrong about their being a death but either way, it was a terrible morning for three people at least.
So sad.
I just can't imagine anything causing that much damage unless it included speed.
I hope I don't see anything like that again ever.
I certainly hope none of you have anyone involved.
My prayers go out to those who were.

RE: Bad wreck on Poplar this am
It happened at 7:50am this morning and I always turn left onto patterson from poplar around that time. I happened to be early to work this morning, thank goodness. I read commercialappeal online and it said that someone had died. I'm wondering if it's anyone affiliated with the university.
