Competitive Balance
I know we all agreed that June was too early to discuss, but i feel the end of July is a great time. Everybody talks about football, but i count 23 teams who are still in the running for the playoffs. The definition of in the running is, being within 6 games of winning the division of wild card.

Yeah, I guess its nice, but I don't like the 8 or so teams right on the Reds asses 04-jawdrop

This is kind of on the same subject but I am sure you will agree with me. The league is watered down, obviously. This talent isn't that great anymore get rid of 10 teams and the products on the field will be so much better.

I agree with you. You're seeing as much parity this year as you've seen before (at least that I've seen). It's not inconcievable that all eight of the playoff teams from last year could miss the playoffs this year. Very few teams are out of it.
