I wish Cheney weren't running with Bush again. I don't want that guy being president, especially knowing that people want Bush dead.

He's just a wierd guy that I don't think would do a very good job if we needed him to take over Dubya's job.

I honestly think he's a good guy. He's a business man and liberals try to make that out to be a bad thing. Nope, that's an American thing.

Of course, I really wished he would have replaced Cheney with Dr. Rice. Cheney would have loved going back to "CEO Type" jobs.

Like I always say, there will, one day, be a black VP and/or Prez, as well as a female, but it won't come from the party that "Says" it's diverse. It will be from a party that believes in action.....the Republican or Libertarian party. Of course, we all know it will be a Republican because the LP is just not that big on the national scale.

You might want to add some women and some black folks to your party before you elect them President. You used to have JC Watts, but now that he has decided to leave, you might want to recruit a few so that they can at least serve in your party for a year or two until they make that Presidential jump.

We are parties of self-success. As soon as they shed this "I am the way I am because of society" I presume we'll get many more. Women AND blacks.

It could also be because most black successful people don't WANT to leave their posh jobs for politics. In that, I say they're smart. Ever hear of Ken Hamblin? How about Walter E. Williams? Armstrong Williams? Larry Elders? Ward Connelly? Frank Melton?

Way to dodge the point of the post, which was the fact that you do not have women or blacks as a part of your party right now.

And if my post was in any way taken to be an insult to JC Watts, it was not meant to be. I have followed him for awhile since hes from my neighboring state, Oklahoma, and have a ton of respect for him.

Really? Elected officials don't elect themselves. "I" am part of the party, yet hold no office. I am a voter. There are MANY women and blacks in the Republican party and the numbers are steadily climbing with the lies being exposed by the Democratic party.
