What is "Muggsy" Bogues real name?

I'm feeling generous today. It starts with a T.............

Man, is there anyone around this morning?

Tyrone

And thank you for spelling Muggsy with 2 "g"s. I get so irked at people spelling it wrong as Mugsy. :D

I am a Muggsy fan, what can I say? :)

Lucy scores!

Bonus (3 pt.): What team (entire name and mascot) did Muggsy play with in 1987?

I had a slight advantage: we were at Wake at the same time.

I still remember the article in the Old Gold & Black announcing our signees in spring of 1983. We all figured there was a typo. Surely Carl Tacy had signed a top 6-3 guard out of Dunbar High, not someone 5-3. :roflol: Imagine our shock when he showed up on campus in the fall. Imagine our delight when he began to show us that height made no difference. :)

Actually, it is not an NBA team or college team I was looking for (trick question)

Need to dig deep fellas, 1987 a pro league team, not NBA...

Well, why didn't you say you were looking for his USBL team...

Rhode Island Gulls
