Generally, I am working most every Wednesday night and don't get a chance to watch baseball. Well, due to family matters I was able to watch a game tonight....the LA-CN game on E$PN. Did I miss something or does Al Michaels do the E$PN Wed night games now? Or was this a special occasion? Joe Morgan and the other regular cat were doing the game as well, but Al sat in or something. I know ABC-E$PN have a network marriage, per say, but what did I miss?

first thing, of course ABC and ESPN have a network marriage considering they're both owned by Disney. I think Al Michaels was one of those legends who calls the games, or something like that.

ESPN is doing this thing where they invite a broadcasting legend into the booth to do the play by play for one of the ESPN night games.

Ahhh, that's much better. Thanks, swoosh, I didn't know that. That had to be why Michaels was calling that game last night. Thanks!
