Now I gotta throw out my award predictions, even though they are never even close.

MVP: Allen Iverson
COY: Randy Ayers
Sixth Man: Joe Johnson
Defense: Ben Wallace
ROY: Carmelo Anthony
Most Improved: Kwame Brown

Kwame is a waste. He needs to spend less time getting drunk and more time playing basketball. He will never be a good NBA player.

I'll buy that - except it will be close ROY with LeBron

I'm kind of rooting for other rookies to have good seasons because they have been overlooked in the Melo-Bron drama.

Melo has averaged 17 ppg in the preseason, Lebron only 11.6.

I would actually consider starting Walton. He is the best passer they have at the small forward position, and would be the perfect compliment to the big four. But not ROY.

Lakers looked good last night, as did the Suns even though they lost.

True, but isnt it a little telling that Melo was among the best in the league in scoring, and Lebron was much closer to the bottom?
