Those nations that did not help us invade, conquor and occupy Iraq will not be eligible for post-war reconstruction contracts. The Bush policy in this area was entirely uni-lateral! Bush and his administration basically told our Allies, "you want the dough, help us bomb but you won't be in charge of any troops you lend us."

One thing this underscores is the nature of Bush II's "coalition." The only way we could get nations on board with us on this war was to pay them. We've thrown them bones and now the nations that helped like Australia, England and Romania will be able to bring in their people to help rebuild the nation, thus making boo-coodles of money off of the misery of others (hey, kind of sounds like the media).

There was/is a quid pro quo to supporting the U.S. and its foreign policies. This is an example of a superpower behaving badly and it's behavior like this that makes people want to come over here and fly airplanes into buildings.

Now, reply and call me a pinko, commie, liberal scumbag who hates America and loves Hitler!

i think that not letting those who want to help, help is foolish and besides it could give us a chance to get ou of Iraq.

Mopar, the people that orchestrated the 9/11 attacks were not Iraqis. While Bush and his warmongers want you to believe that Saddam was behind it all, that claim is simply untrue and misinformed.
Actually, if any nation is responsible it would be Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, not Iraq (and, of course, Afghanistan).
That said, I don't really see what 9/11 has to do with rebuilding contracts. I was trying to point out reckless policies on the part of the U.S. government in my original post. You missed that entirely!

So, you're in Iraq? Didn't think so. I served 8 years(2 months was in your boys Somalia), and thought about reenlisting. You aren't there so.........well, you get the pic.

Hey, Diogones, nobody called you a pinko fag commie liberal yet so allow me. . .

You friggin commie! Why don't you come on and get on board the winning team, son? Have you forgotten those Americans who died in a completely unrelated criminal act perpetrated by Saudi Arabians? You really ought to be standing on that wall protecting our freedoms by killing innocent women and children! I hope your mama's proud of you!
