Pedro needs to bring his ERA down and decide to pitch some innings.

Compare schmidt and schilling for the last 2 years and this year.

This year Schilling and Schmidt are virtually even, last year Schilling was injured, the year before that, Schilling by a mile. And before that, Schilling by a mile. Not even close.

Yes, Schmidt is better than prior. many scouts agree. The d-rays announcers said today that many scouts they talked to, said schmidt is the best pitcher in the NL.

shmidt isnt even close to randy johnson

I think Schmidt is the best pitcher in baseball right now. Take out his first two starts, and he's been simply unhittable.

randy johnson has easily been the best pitcher this year. Great ERA, whip, opp. BAA. Hes been terrific. Hes had a perfect game, 1 hitter, and 2 hitter
