what? I know they call it the all star game, but that game is for the fans not for the best players. the all star game is made up of the players the fans want to see the most, not the players who're the best. If fans don't count for much who would watch the game? If you screw the fans who would watch the NBA at all? besides chris.

Any fan that wants to see Scottie Pippen should be checked.

why? maybe these people are long time fans of pippen. I'd like to see jerome williams in the baseball all star game, even though he doesn't deserve it, simply because he is one of my favorite players.

that is possibly the dumbest thing i've ever heard anyone say.

How can you be too stupid to know what you want to see? Just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean their opinions are stupid.

No actually Pippen was that high because they have not heard of guys like Ron Artest, and are not knowledgeable fans. That is why fans considerations should be considered for the all-star team, but not actually count for anything.

i think there's a better chance of all star game voters being a fan of pippen then there is of them not knowing who artest is. Also, some fans vote for only players on their favorite teams. For example, i voted for tony battie at center this season.

Battie didn't start when he was in Boston either!!

The point is non-knowlegdeable fans are voting for the all-star game.

first thing, he did. Second thing, he was on the ballot.

I don't think non-knowledgable fans vote, i just think people vote for players on their fave team. in baseball, i vote for grissom, snow, etc.

Wanna bet?

19 games with Celtics, 1 start when Blount was injured. Mark blount is an underrated player and has definitely started all season.

The fact that you vote for Snow and Grissom shows that fans votes should not count.

rrgh grissom is annoying when i went to a giants game I would've gotten a free giants raio and a grissom bobble head if he had hit a HR, instead he hit it to the warning track
