I believe that "elitist" would be better used to describe a corrupt political dynasty of folks who attended Yale and currently (just like Osama Bin Laden) enjoy the support and friendship of the Saudi Royal Family. A family who have always shunned the very people who now support them, while sidling up to anyone who can increase their personal wealth. A family whose current leader believed that others should fight for and die for this country while he partied, but now has no qualms about sending other people's children to die. That would be a better use of the word, don't you agree?

The Saudis have never supported any sitting Presidemt, more a business partner. But now after the attacks against the governement/police station they realize if they have Kerry in office he is going to ignore the terrorist threat and leave the saudi gov't in dire straights of being taken over. If you want something to fear, fear this a militant islamic gov't protecting the holy land of islam. Thier word would be as good as gold.

The Bush fortune was built on their association with the Saudis. They don't want Kerry because he won't send a plane around the country "rescuing" them should their associates perpetrate another terrorist attack against us.

I'm still baffled by the completely unfounded and unreasonable assertions of right-wingers that a war hero would be softer on defense than a deserter. That is probably the most irrational thing I have ever heard.
