Very interesting find there, Coug.
I think back to last season and I tend to find I was a little less "scared" when White was calling the shots. For now I think I support this idea, but I think I want to wait and see.

Not just was I less scared when White was calling the shots last season but the Sooners seem to respond more to his leadership than Hybl's. Hybl seemed to more of a "Cheeseman" (winer) than a leader. This is not to say he is not as athletic as White but the relationship between players is just as important as the athletic ability. With the defense looking as dominant as it seems to be, the offense need only to score 3 TDs a game to run table to Tempe in January. Don't forget OU's insationable ability to score Defensive Touchdowns inwhich I definatly don't see coming to an end anytime soon!!!!

Not to take away from Hybl -- he's a good athlete and all, but Jason White, the way I see it, will be a real positive in the mental game as well as the physical game, and that's what the Sooners need for another title run.
IIRC, Josh Heupel wasn't always pretty to look at, but he had the head game down cold, and look where that got the Sooners (gotta say sorry to all my ACC buds, but whooping up on Florida State was -- and still is -- sweeeeeeet, and I don't even like football that much).
Noticing you are from Destin, FL -- isn't that close to Fort Walton? One of my "pet" MLB pitchers is from Fort Walton.
