Hopkins Commits
A pretty reliable source has confirmed that John Hopkins, the 6'3 240 lb DE from Missouri has in fact committed. Take that for what its worth, but I think thats a pretty good get for us, hes a top 18 prospect in Missouri

His reps will increase once he gets into town.

I'll bet he has a Michael Turner type legs and thighs to help him move people out of the way.

Yep. Those bench reps are at 185lbs. To put it in perspective, I am 5'8 150 and I can do that 10 times. Like NIUCO90 said, I'm sure that will change pretty quick.

Wow, I thought it would be 225. Being the beast that I am, I can also put up 185 10 times. Then again, NIURB and I are a couple of huge guys and should have been on the O Line back in the day tearing it up with NINO! lmfao

Yep that is not a good number of reps for 185 lbs. My little baby is 6' and 207 and does 14 reps right now. He is still improving so we will see what this MLB does when he is a senior. I think that he can easily add another 5 - 10 reps along with another 10 pounds - but he is not a defensive lineman. I sure hope that this guy can add a lot of weight to his frame.

Yep, just like in ballet! Let's just hope that the ballet startlets we recruit have some strength to be able to wrap up and tackle!

If Edmonds is as good as people say he is then he won't come here to be a backup. We already have a lot of good RB's on scholarship. Edmonds can go to Ball State and play as a true freshman if he is good. Ball State needs a running game badly.

I was hoping we would offer one of these two guys if we added any more RB's.
