WRONG Jerky... Northern Illinois was the 2005 MAC WEST CHAMPION. slUT won the MAC West in 2004.

I would like to state for the record...

Miami is *technically* three-peated this year.

2003-MAC East Champs, MACchamps, GMAC Champs
2004-MAC East Champs
2005-MAC East Co-champs.

Three peat.

BG is also on the record AS tieing for the East Champs. The tiebreakers, to my knowledge don't extend to the division champs, just who goes to the MACC. Which was a load of horse crap. Miami woulda been in, if not for a fluke FG loss to CMU.(Good win for them, not taking that away, their QB beat Miami up one side of the field, and down the other!) Miami got stomped by BG, who woulda ripped a few teams apart if not for being Omar-less, and trying a new QB.

Funny a 7-4 season is an off season for Miami... 7-5 is GOOD for Akron. ;-)

We were tied in the standings but won the tiebreaker with the win at the Glass Bowl.
