You guys have a lot more to worry about than how UCF plays on the road this year. I think most reasonable UCF fans expect around .500 this year with rebuilding under the NCAA Football Coach of the Year. Remember Junior, the UCF tickets have not gone on sale yet. When we play name teams on the road (especially ones we have never played) we typically send 2,500-5,000 fans selling out our allottment and then some- See Penn St., UGA, Auburn, Alabama. Hell, we sent almost 2,000 to see ASU in Phoenix.
Speaking of attendance(From Jeremy Speer- Central Michigan Life, or a lack thereof):
Football attendance has dropped significantly during the past few seasons, and student apathy is at an all-time high. Too often does game-day become a tailgating excursion beginning at 10 a.m. and ending prior to kickoff.

As for a blood bath, you mean like this one (on our worst year):
October 25, 2003

UCF Football Rolls Past Central Michigan, 31-13

Miss America 2003 Erika Dunlap was
on hand for Saturday's Homecoming
win over Central Michigan

UCF recorded its third straight
crowd of 20,000 or more Saturday
vs. Central Michigan.

Redshirt freshman tailback Dontavius
Wilcox rushed for a career-high 77
yards.

ORLANDO -- Behind tailback Alex Haynes and quarterback Ryan Schneider, the UCF Golden Knights used a balanced attack to defeat the Central Michigan Chippewas 31-13 at the Florida Citrus Bowl Saturday evening.

This is going to be too easy. :D

"NCAA Coach of the Year?" - (U) ©an't (F)ake (resumes).

"Junior" - Listen up Headpump, just because your parents bought you an electric blanket to cure your bedwetting is no reason to call me "Junior."

"2,500-5,000" Roadies? - If 500 show up at Camp Randall (and survive), I'll be impressed!

"October 25, 2003: (U) ©an (F)orgetaboutit-31, CMU-13"
November 1, 2003: CMU-38 @ EMU-10
November 8, 2003: (U) ©ondone necro(F)eelya-13 @ EMU-19
(so, what's you're phuckin' point besides not having one?)

"Miss America 2003" - You mean Ru Paul?

CMU - Founded 1892.
(U) ©ockroach (F)uckers aka Fla-Duh Tech - 1963 (Chrissakes, my high school is older and has a bigger library!)

I'm beginning to wonder exactly who is in charge of quality control for all those treasure maps in tony ORLANDO & dawn!? The ever-increasing triviality of your arguments is apparently good news for you and your co-workers at the squirrel-waterski factory!

Wow, now you even try to argue facts. Yes George O'Leary has an "NCAA Coach of the Year Award" under his belt. Would you willing to bet money on that 500 in attendance figure (we send that many to the bottom feeders in the MAC)????? Believe me, we have been in stadiums that would make Wisconson look like a competitive tee-ball game (UF was probably the most hostile, Auburn, UGA, Alabama, WVU and the largest stadium we travelled to was Penn St. w/ the classiest fans outside of our trip to Nebraska).
FYI- age does not define a school. There a plenty of old crappy schools out there.
We are very proud of our Miss America, what did your school pull-off?- Runner-up for Miss Walleye? 03-lol

I'll put up my "Breakfast of Champions" snow-sculpture against your "Miss America," any day! After your encounter with the Badgers/Camp Randall, ask your roadies and players if they're surprised at how little they miss the parts that don't grow back! :D

Now you are confusing me, smile.... which school did you attend??? Well Miami/UF and FSU could beat Wisc. to pulp, valid argument huh?? Northern schools will never have the atmosphere of southern football and the rabid fanbase to go with it. Big yes (in some places), but not as die-hard as fans in the south. Ever been to an SEC game????? I hear the tailgating is great at UW, as for fear of fans, we've seen worse no matter how much you want to believe. The only thing we fear is the new coach!!!!
Conservative estimate of 1,000-1,500 fans from UCF will travel to Wisconson. If you think I am wrong, why don't we have a friendly wager???

You have no concept of time, accountability, or common courtesy, which is only forgivable because you're a pretty house cat. :snore:

This is an extraordinarily region-centric and ignorant statement.

Now THAT was funny. That post borders on art.

Thanks for the chuckle, Oddy, and apologies to those skewered.

I don't think the UCF fans understand when we say hostile we don't mean that they eagerly cheer on their team - which they do.

What we mean is their fans and students SERIOUSLY rough up visitors both on the field and those in the stands. It is a MOB mentality on Saturdays. The thuggery is easily the worst in the Big 10 (plus one).

If you're going up to the game, go with a very large and non-threatening crowd, don't look at anyone directly in the eyes, and don't wear any brightly colored clothing (this was actually told to my by a PU buddy of mine).

The ONLY good thing that resulted from the larceny we endured when we played in Madison two years, was we were able to get back to our car and get the hell out of Wisconsin without too much incident.

Had the Big 10's finest not awarded the game to UW, I'm fairly certain it would have been a perilous going for us.

We have heard it all before. How can it be any worse than some of MAC East fans on their best evenings??? 03-wink
Everywhere has their share of idiots and maybe Wisconson will be the worst, but it hasn't and it won't stop fans from traveling. A lot of us are planning to head down to Chicago after the game for the end of Labor Day weekend and catch the Cubbies on Mon. night.
I have been to ACC, Big East, Big 10, CUSA, MAC games before, but the SEC takes the cake IMO for moron fans (by far).

Evidently, your bad taste also extends to baseball.
FYI-If you're fortunate enough to escape Madison intact, avoid p'ing off the SUV drivers around Wrigley. :biggun:
