Marshall up against the Cards by six with 3:01 left. And the game is in Muncie! This would get my vote as the MAC upset of the year, by far.

90-79 Marshall, 70 seconds to go.

Man, things really go up for grabs in the West with this one.

Congrats, Herd!

Flashy Wrote:NIU is no competition - the Marshall team of the West.

Flashes look prime to eat roo meat on Wednesday night.  A KSU win their would eliminate the Zips from MAC contention and make it a Kent footrace with Miami.

Fingers crossed.
Flashy is a Zip masquerading as a KSU fan. He makes outlandish troll statements in alleged support of KSU to pump up opposing teams and fans. Keep that in mind when you read his posts.

Any real KSU fan will tell you that all remaing games are going to be tough and nothing is a given. Our schedule to finish out is going to be a hard test. We have OU as the last game of the season and it wouldn't surprise me if that game determines whether the Flashes play at home or has to travel for the first round of the tourney.

:crying: 03-nutkick

that should describe how I feel about the loss to Marshall today...very, very dissappointing. I give Marshall credit, they came to play today and NEVER gave up...this one hurts.

Go Cards.

This is a huge upset. Guess the Herd will not go winless.

Keep it in perspective, Cards. Every team has off days. It's still a dog fight in the West.

That Ball State game really is a shocker. That may end up costing Ball State big time in the seedings come tourney time. That helps Ohio and Kent State. Ball State holds a tie breaker over OU and Kent State. Akron holds one over Ball State. The difference between 2-9 seeds are just 2 games. Ball State, WMU,BG,Ohio, Akron, and Kent State each have 4 losses. Toledo has 5 and UB 6. Miami only 2. Rest are road locks. BG has a must win Monday against Ohio. An Ohio win would give OU a sweep of the Falcons and hand BG their 3 home MAC loss. Miami is at Ball State. Ball State also faces a sweep. UB is done in the east. They blew two division games last week and are 1-4 against Akron, OU,Kent, and Miami. UB also plays at WMU. Then Kent/Akron winner may be in first after Saturday. Miami plays at Ball State(coming off a bad home loss) and then at Ohio (10,000 plus will give Miami their normal welcome).

There are likely many surprises yet in store this season. When 0-10 teams win on the road at a division leader, then anyone can win anywhere, anytime.

At last. So far this season has felt more like :chair: :chair: :chair: generally followed up with 03-nutkick 03-nutkick 03-nutkick and 03-puke 03-puke 03-puke

It seems like we've been in every game but allow the other team to go on a huge run (normally something like 20-3) at some point and never recover. I'm hoping we can take this win and use it to build some momentum entering tournament time and pull an upset or two. Regardless, this game is a perfect illustration of why it is so incredibly difficult to go undefeated in conference play and I don't care whether you're talking the ACC or the Mid-South-Western-Atlantic-Northern conference.
