You keep saying that bowl you TOOK by court action after renting it for a Dollar a year is second to none. Well you don't even have any luxury seating.

I think you are full of it.
Keep dreaming Mr. 20k attendance a couple of years ago.
LMAO. lmfao
Like I said....we'll be fine. There's future plans to add luxury suites and expand the Sun Bowl to 60k seats. Funny how you changed "stole from the city" to "court action". Man, you're a freaking idiot. No matter how you try to spin the facts.....UTEP still has the best ON CAMPUS stadium in the league. Get over it.
Keep bringing the 20k attendance of 3 years ago. I don't care.
It must have ruined your day the Tampa article that quoted the BE commish saying the BE won't add a 9th memeber anytime soon......since there's no special team out there that justifies such addition. Ouch!!!!! lmfao

Keep dreaming Mr. 20k attendance a couple of years ago. Eventualy your fans will see you aren't going anywhere playing the crap SOS you do and will jump ship again as they are the most fickle fans in the conference clearly.
You may lead us in attendance but depsite 14k more a game in 2004 you finished behind us in $$$$ at the gate which tells me you GIVE tickets away!! Fact.
1. University of Memphis $2,395,837
2. East Carolina University $2,067,688
3. University of Texas-El Paso $1,969,639
14,000 less tickets a game!! We have $40 tickets you have vouchers.

But it's a nice story you tell.
Hold it right there!!!!!!
Since Mike Price arrived at UTEP, the school has been raising season and single tickets every year. Enjoy your $100k lead over UTEP because it won't be for long. Our attendance, budget and tickets will keep increasing. Man, it feels good being a UTEP fan these days. Keep typing without having no idea what you're arguing. I guess I'll keep teaching you UTEP History 101...that way you won't look as dumb next time you type with your little fingers.

$100K with 14k less tickets a game.
Keep bragging about attendance was all I was saying. You obviously give tickets away. Price was there that year BTW and your attendance is going down as well while ours is going BACK up. People are seeing through beating Weber State and Texas Southern wins.

Bring evidence that UTEP "stole" the Sun Bowl from the County. Prove it.
But since I'm in a good mood and in a mood of sharing UTEP history, I'll give you a hint:
A) The El Paso County commissioners were the same people who forced a local amusement park (by not giving them permission to expand in land that the County owns) to move to Sunland Park, New Mexico....an El Paso suburb. Now El Pasoans are spending money in Do

Without cheating!!! What you fail to mention is SMU /Houston were cheating their hearts out. Players took pay cuts when they went to the NFL. Houston was banned from TV for cheating in that last Heisman Andre Ware's SR year. YEAH we all really want the death penalty.
SJ, I have to give it to you on this one. That post was great! lmfao lmfao
BUT, I now must give you the obligatory...

Hate to burst your bubble but Dickerson and James had graduated by 1983. That was the year Reggie Dupard led the Mustangs. I saw them throttle Louisville that year and Dupard had like 200 yards rushing. They lost one regular season game that year to Texas and then lost in the Sun Bowl to Alabama.

Wow,
I am sorry I started this whole thing....
First off, I am very happy to be in CUSA instead of the WAC.....SMU is lucky to be here. Everyone in this conference can hang their hat on something.....Sure, I am a bit partial to Rice and Houston because they were my SWC mates. Hell, ECU beat us the last two years and have a good fan base, and I will root for you guys as well....
I was just attempting to challenge SMU to take advantage of what they have...a great stadium and great facilities in the middle of a recruiting gold mine....
I totally respect what ECU and UCF has done, and Marshall and of course USM that has been the torch bearer of this conference for many years. We all have our favorites and alliances......I will always pull for Houston to beat Tulsa...and Rice to beat UTEP...they are my brothers. We have a nice conference, the bottom feeders are getting better and elites will reload....lets all have fun...
/cheers
