Travis Ford will get LR to the top of the UAC rapidly over the next 2-3 years (or less).

The UNA women lead #19 Ole Miss 14-11 after the first quarter!

Lions up 23-13 in the 2nd.

Halftime: UNA 27, Ole Miss 25. Roar Lions!

Rebels pulling away in the second half. Way too many UNA turnovers but that first half made me pretty excited to see how this season unfolds!

One factor I see with the Texans is they aren’t afraid to make mistakes. The past two or three years, the players would look over their shoulder after every mistake believing they would be subbed out of the game. The fear appears to no longer exist.

It was that way at LR under D Walker.

Again not UAC, but our friends at East Texas A&M got another one.

D Walker's teams were always a mess. Even his 2 good teams would play undisciplined at times. So far, Coach Ford's system seems more organized and his players look like they want to compete.

Five minutes into the game at San Diego and we have no sound for the game.

However the commercials have sound.

Tarleton LQQkin good tonight!

At the half

Tarleton 46
USD 32

About the only issue I have seen is too many turnovers as we have 9 at the half. We need our PG Blackwell!!!

Another great thing about tonight’s game, no political commercials.

Well the Texans lose in OT 90-96.

The game was decided at the free throw line.

Tarleton 26-36 68%
USD 34-39 87%

Tarleton is up by three with approximately 6 seconds remaining in the game and on the line for two FT. Miss both and USD makes a 3 to send the game to OT.

Up by 3, 5 seconds to go, Tarleton at the FT line, 2 to shoot, misses both.

All we had to do was make ONE lousy FT and it was over!

It will be interesting to see what ACU does against Lamar. I hate to see the Texans lose to USD.

We play Southeast Louisiana out of the Southland today. If we played like we did against VCU, we should win this game.
