EKU up 24-17 after finally scoring inside the 10 on their third time there.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL: WEEK 9
Stephenville is proving exciting for sure: 24-21, EKU over TSU, but the Texans are on the hunt with 2 minutes left.

And just like that, 28-24 w/ 1:54 left. How does EKU respond?

Looks like the Texans will survive. That was a really good game by EKU.

And some people feel other conferences would be better, but the UAC is going to give you more bang for your buck week in and week out.

Dr. Jeckyll was barely able to keep Mr. Hyde in check tonight. Tarleton did everything they could to keep EKU in this game. Three turnovers especially the last one going in.

Lack of discipline and suspect Defense

But, once again found a way to win

Congratulations to EKU for playing hard.

Definitely a thorn for Tarleton since day 1.

Congratulations TSU. You made more plays than we did.

Mixed feelings here. Of course I wish we had won, on the other hand, Wells just has not got the job done and he has had plenty of time to do so. Hate this for the team. Always an Eternal Colonel, supporting one of the most successful all time programs in FCS, but the last couple of seasons have been tough to watch.
Best of luck to Tarleton, hope you win the Natty, there's nothing like it.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL: WEEK 9
Just watched Tarleton play their worst game of the year. Pathetic!!!

EKU played really hard with their fourth QB of the year.

It’s not my decision and I don’t know the EKU HC contract situation, but it might be time for a change.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL: WEEK 9
Look, winning 9 straight games ain't easy, at any level. There is a reason there are only 2 undefeated FCS teams remaining out of 128. On top of that, being #1 means you have a target on your back and everybody's trying to knock you off, especially in conference play. A win is win at this point in the season, and the elite teams find a way to win, even when nothing is going their way. Tarleton Defense played like they always do, really. They gave up a ton of yards on the ground, and made some plays when they needed to. Not surprised at all EKU put up 24 points on us, and truth be told, they're a much better (TOUGHER) team than their record would indicate. Last night it was the Offense (and sh*tty officiating) that almost cost us the game. We still managed to put up almost 600 Yards, but our QB1 had a bad night, and our receivers were dropping balls they normally catch with ease. 3 unforced turnovers led directly to 17 of EKU's 24 points. QB1 had 2 INTs, equal to his total all year, and our most sure-handed RB had his first fumble of the year for a touchback, for Pete's sake. It was just an off night all around, on Halloween Night, but we still found a way to win. Hopefully we got all of that out of our system and are dialed in when ACU comes knocking next week 05-mafia

RE: UAC FOOTBALL: WEEK 9
All you Tarleton fans whining about how "awful" you played.....As our Hall of Fame Coach, Roy Kidd, used to say, don't complain about how awful you played, give credit to the other team as they most likely had something to do with the outcome of the game, and when you win, ACT Like You Have Been There Before! As far as the "shi***ty" officiating, I think both teams might have complaints, but honesty i've seen a lot worse!

Go Big E! Rest in paradise Coach Kidd, we certainly miss you!
