Ha, in my situation (long solo RV trek across the western US), Gemini is a multiple daily interaction. Dude is wrong about 10% of the time. Have to always double check, if it's something the least bit important.
I've never knowingly used any AI platform. My kids both make extensive use of them.
My son colorized a photo of my mom when she was maybe 16, sitting atop a street pole of some sort, maybe 5 feet tall. It was black and white, and we have all wondered for years where in Memphis it was taken. She looks like a pinup girl, except with clothes on, sitting there with her legs crossed and her head slightly elevated. My mom was a beautiful Italian girl and that particular photo really shows it.
None of her siblings remembered where the pic was taken. There was a business in the background, but the name was illegible until my son had AI colorize and enhance the photo, and the name of the store is clearly visible. I keep meaning to drive by there, as I think the store is still open but under another name. It's somewhere in the Evergreen district. The period that photo was taken would have been circa 1945-1946, maybe.
I sure do miss that 5'1" 110-pound slip of a woman of courage, fury, and righteous anger. She was the bravest woman I've ever known. She was part of the Silent Generation, who never complained about much of anything, especially her ailments, all RA-related. If I stub my toe, the whole house is going to know about it. She suffered in silence all the way up until she died. She possessed incredible intestinal fortitude and a deep abiding faith in God.
If AI could do anything for me, it would be to let me sit and talk to her just one more time.
