Question Rice Baseball vs San Jac - 16-Oct-26
Per @RiceBaseball on X, the Owls lead San Jac going to the 7th, 9-1, the last 3 runs coming on a JC Davis HR in the B6. Owls scored 4 after 2 outs in the B2, always good to see, and added 2 more in the 4th.

Any idea how pitchers were in gm1? Same rotation as A&M?

No, I don’t. Hoping the summary will cover that.

3-3 going to the last frame.

I'm assuming that Eppley, Fernandez and Brackin are all still working their way back from last season surgery. Are they throwing from a mound yet?

Great to here. Means they'll likely be ready to go-- at least short stints in relief-- come Spring. If these 3 are healthy and can return to form, our pitching depth should be very, very good. A bullpen with Thames, Eppley and Bracken could be really fun to watch.

Looking forward to attending next Saturday's exhibition against McCarron.

That would be McClennan CC in Waco where Mike Taylor recently joined the baseball coaching staff.

Thanks for the correction. The exhibition will be at Reckling.
