Not really the point I was making as I was only trying to show what he was actually talking about. And based on just those words in the clip, I don't see him asking for importing more workers, but rather providing a path to citizenship for those who are already here and actually currently doing necessary work.

But I sure as **** don't have any belief that the current people in power want to help and do good for the people, the trump administration clearly wants control and power and doesn't care who they harm to get and keep it.

Dude, 11 million votes swings every national election in my lifetime. The plan is no more complex than that - “we gave you citizenship, so now vote for us”. It doesn’t matter if it’s the right thing, it doesn’t matter if the voters they currently represent want it, they want to buy a voting block by disregarding the law. They let all them in during Biden to press the issue, no other reason. They weren’t being noble or empathetic. They did it for power.

It comes down to a simple truth: we don't want them here, nor do we need them.

If they want to come in as temporary workers seasonally and then ship back home? Sure go for it. But if you overstay, you're going to end up being caught and not invited back.

US citizenship is the most valuable citizenship in the entire world. Just because you found room on a raft or the back of a truck doesn't mean you're entitled to it.

I have never defended people illegally entering our country and staying here. That is wrong and an insult to those folks who property went through the process.

What I am simply saying is that there are some illegals who are working hard, paying taxes, going to church, taking care of their families, etc. That does not justify their having entered (and stayed) illegally. But it is the truth.

I would rather have those such illegals as neighbors as oppose to American-born people who won't work, cause trouble, commit crime, game the system, etc.
