RE: Republicans for Talarico
Forty percent of voters in Texas vote early, and that typically trends Democrat. There's still millions of vote remaining. Paxton can still make this up.

It's so bad, that at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if that distorted George Bush guy in a wheel chair, Abbott, loses his governship as well.

As a native Texan, lolno.

The people that haven't been here in forever are starting to crawl out of the woodwork.

I wonder why.

All I know is I hope and pray the leftists on here admit they were wrong when the GOP sweeps the statewide races here in Texas. (I'm not holding my breath though.)

Bumpity bump bump

Yeah, yeah. I was wrong. At least I'm man enough to admit it. Y'all on the left usually aren't.

Same. I’m actually more shocked by the margin that the loss. Republicans simply didn’t show up at the voting booth. That said—I don’t think this is a trend—I think it’s a referendum on a bad 2026 for a Trump. When this happened to Clinton, he became more pragmatic and looked for places where he could work with the opposition on bills that were popular with the American people. They called it triangulation and it worked quite well for him.

Clinton is a borderline genius and his wife/top aide has a 140 IQ. He was also 50 instead of 80 when he had to pivot. Trump has obliterated the Republican Party, the dems anre going to end up with 55 or 56 seats in the SENATE. All he had to do was govern like he did in his first term, instead he’s acted these past 2 years like he got 65% of the vote in 2024 and had an overwhelming mandate to do whatever he wanted. He spends years castigating Biden for governing like he had a huge mandate and then made exactly that same mistake.

Except that was his 2nd term. He wasn't a lame duck with half a term left. He did it out of political expediency.

This is a troubling day for freedom in America. This just sets the stage for the dems to run roughshod over the entire country again. If last night can happen, then Kamala can be POTUS in 2028. Thanks to the CCP and all the other marxists' dark money and organizing.

I can't believe that more than half of the country are brain-dead morons who are voting for their own destruction.

The Californication is complete.

You see it in Tex. GA, and NC. People run from the liberal dumpster fire but continue to vote blue. They can see and feel the results but can't make the connection.

Man, that's BS. That freak in Texas won by over a million. Cooper won by almost 2 million in NC. There were about 5M people who left CA, IL and NY in the past 8 years. It's not like 100% them were liberals and went to just TX, GA and NC. That narrative is a lazy ass cop out. Just face reality, Trump's ego ****** all of us.

I agree, I have friends from Chicago, and NY who moved to FL and both are still solid
DIM voters, while loving no state income tax and more freedom.

Democrats hate freedom and love taxes.

What else is new?

The data doesn't support that claim. The transplants into these states vote solidly Republican and have been keeping these states Republican while born and raised voters have been moving Democrat for years.

FWIW, I have always believed America was the great whore referenced in Revelation. People from every nation is very descriptive of America as well as other references.

Others have argued with me but from everything I have carefully read there is no way to refute it in my mind.

When I saw Paxton getting drummed in Collin County I knew his fate was sealed. The problem moving forward is the weak inept leadership the Dems will bring and without any support in the Texas House or Senate I do not see much taking place but grandstanding.

The bottom line is everything is becoming unaffordable. It started with the INFLATION PRODUCTION ACT and nothing has really changed. Add to that we have a generation of young adults who are not married and a generation of young men who have been castrated by Woke Progressive ideology and you can see how things will start to see saw.

I have said this before and I fully expect inflation and commodities to skyrocket once the Dems seize control. Dems placate the very Billionaires they denigrate. It's money making time.
