Not a surprise that they don't have any concrete goals in mind. D's and DSA'a are alike in that. D's are "more (and more) of this and less (and less) of that, while DSA's are none of this and all of that. So....taxpayers pay for city-owned grocery stores and then, when those stores threaten privately owned stores, taxpayers will fund grants for those stores. The taxpayers just keep paying and paying, no matter what happens.

These people have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. here's an idea, lower taxes and eliminate useless government 'programs', grants and interventions and the useless people getting ridiculous salaries working for the useless governemnt programs and let the mearkets work efficiently to get groceries to the local people without the increased costs added by putting useless governemnt taxation and middlemen in between the business and the consumer, thereby actually driving costs down.

It was rhetorical - I know the answer.

It is spelled P-O-W-E-R.

210 real democrats and 15 DSA Democrats give the Democrats a nominal majority in the House, with all the power that implies.

But they will not be able to pass legislation without the approval of the DSA bloc. So the DSA will hold the mainstream D's prisoner, unless they acquiesce to their demands.

Some regular D's think the trade off is worth it, since their goal is not so much legislation as it is getting Trump. If Trump is for lollipops for toddlers, they will be against it. Short sighted, and while their focus is on getting Trump, the DSA is getting them.

I am sure many Germans thought the same of working with the Nazis, then a minority party but with enough clout to make their demands stick. I think one day the Dems will wake up and realize it is 1938 again. Took a world war to get Germany back to a democracy.
