Is There No Crime Too Evil for Activist Judges to Let Illegals Walk Free?
Quote:A convicted Cuban plane hijacker who terrorized a flight crew and forced a plane to divert to Florida in 2003 is back on the streets after a Bill Clinton-appointed federal judge ordered his release from ICE custody last week.

Miakel Guerra Morales, who served roughly 20 years in federal prison for aircraft piracy, had been detained by immigration authorities since December. He was awaiting deportation.

That is, until U.S. District Judge John E. Steele ruled on July 8th that he could no longer be held, despite the ongoing removal process.

A report from the magistrate judge in 2009 highlights some aspects of the brutality involved in the hijacking. The hijackers— Morales and a handful of co-defendants—wielded the plane’s emergency axes and several knives in an attempt to control the pilot and crew. Knives were, on multiple occasions, pressed against the throats of some individuals.

Morales was, according to the document, one of two assailants who pushed a steward "face down to the floor of the cabin" and "held a knife to his throat as they bound his hands behind him with a cord."

During the chaos, the flight technician grabbed an axe to fight back, but reportedly stopped when he heard shouting from the passenger cabin that the hijackers had taken children hostage.

Defense lawyers portrayed the incident as a “freedom flight” out of Cuba, claiming the crew and an airport security guard were complicit. They alleged that the crew helped smuggle the knives aboard and recruited the six men to carry out what was meant to appear as a hijacking.

The judge in their case rejected efforts to portray the hijacking as political, while prosecutors argued that escaping your country of origin does not justify hijacking a civilian airliner filled with passengers (including children), holding knives and axes to crew members’ throats, taking hostages, binding people, issuing death threats, and endangering dozens of lives.

Not to mention, hijacking a plane headed to the United States just two years after 9/11 was incredibly ill-advised.

Guerra, meanwhile, credited the judge for his recent release.

"If the judge hadn't been firm, ICE wouldn't have let me go," he said, according to Cuba Headlines.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was not pleased with Steele's decision.

“This activist judge forced ICE to release a criminal illegal alien who was convicted and sentenced to 22 years for hijacking a plane back into American communities,” DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement.

“This is yet another example of an activist judge trying to thwart President Trump’s mandate from the American people to remove criminal illegal aliens from our country."

Steele ordered his release under supervision. That means immigration agents must now monitor him in the community while they continue efforts to deport him.

Bis insists DHS will "continue to fight for the detention and removal of criminal illegal aliens who have no right to be in our country."

Outrage After Illegal Semi Driver Who Killed 3 People Sentenced to JUST OVER 4 YEARS

Quote:Jashanpreet Singh, the 21-year-old illegal alien semi-truck driver who killed three people on a Southern California freeway last October was sentenced to under 5 years in prison on Tuesday.

Singh previously pleaded guilty to three counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.

Superior Court Judge Shannon Faherty (D) (she was previously appointed by Governor Newsom to fill a vacancy), sentenced Singh to 4 years and eight months in prison after he killed three people and injured several others in a multi-vehicle pile-up crash.

According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, Singh is an Indian illegal alien who was caught and released by border patrol agents at the El Centro, California, sector by the Biden administration in March 2022.

“I’m told ICE is placing a detainer request on Singh with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, where he is in custody on suspicion of DUI causing great bodily injury and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. He has not been formally charged yet,” Bill Melugin said.

Three people were killed and several others were severely injured after Singh plowed into vehicles on a freeway in Ontario, California, last October.

Eyewitnesses said the collision created a massive fireball after Singh failed to stop as traffic slowed down.

It took over 24 hours from the time of the accident for the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to release the identity of the driver who caused the fiery crash.

The Gateway Pundit reached out to CHP Officer Rodrigo Jimenez, inquiring about the identity of the truck driver who caused the deadly chain-reaction car accident on the 10 westbound freeway.

Officer Jimenez did not immediately respond to The Gateway Pundit’s email; however, KTLA reported later Wednesday that authorities identified the driver as Jashanpreet Singh.

Dashcam video obtained by KABC shows the moment Singh plowed into three vehicles before smashing into another semi-truck.

A total of 8 vehicles, including four big rig trucks, were involved in the deadly crash.

An eyewitness said Singh was driving at a high rate of speed when he slammed into the vehicles.

Singh was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs but a toxicology report later revealed he was not under the influence.

There is no real justice in this country anymore. If I were to steal a loaf of bread, I'd have the book thrown at me. Meanwhile, my brother's killer is still rolling around free.

Clinton Judge Dies Unexpectedly Just Days After Releasing Dangerous Plane Hijacker Who Was Awaiting Deportation

Quote:A Clinton-appointed judge has suddenly passed away after freeing a dangerous migrant earlier this week.

As The New York Post reported, a legal source in Miami and a law clerk for Chief Judge Marcia Morales Howard of the Middle District of Florida, confirmed that Senior District Judge John E. Steele passed away at the age of 77.

His cause of death remains unknown at this point.

Back on July 8, Steele, who was appointed to the bench by former President Bill Clinton, infuriated conservatives after issuing a ruling ordering the release of Cuban plane hijacker Maikel Guerra Morales from ICE custody.

The agency took him into custody in December 2025 and intended to deport him to Mexico.

Via The Post, here is exactly what Guerra Morales did:

Guerra Morales took over a Cuban commuter plane in 2003 and forced the crew to land at Key West International Airport.

He spent more than 20 years in prison for aircraft piracy and conspiracy to interfere with a flight crew.

Despite these facts, Steele ordered the Cuban native to be released again under supervision. This means agents must try to monitor him before they can deport him.

Steele claimed that ICE could not send Guerra Morales to Cuba because of an anti-torture convention, and that the agency had provided no evidence that he had communicated with Mexico about sending him there.

Following Steele’s ruling, Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) filed an article of impeachment against him. The House Resolution presented by the congressman alleged that the judge had committed “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

“This is exactly the kind of activist judicial overreach the American people are sick of,” Steube explained to Fox News. “Judge Steele had every legal justification to keep a convicted plane hijacker off our streets, and he chose to let him go instead.”

The Department of Homeland Security also issued a scathing response to the now-deceased judge for his outrageous decision:

“This activist judge forced ICE to release a criminal illegal alien who was convicted and sentenced to 22 years for hijacking a plane back into American communities,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “This is yet another example of an activist judge trying to thwart President Trump’s mandate from the American people to remove criminal illegal aliens from our country.

“Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, DHS will continue to fight for the detention and removal of criminal illegal aliens who have no right to be in our country.”
