Him and his buddies scrimmaged against the OS lacrosse team one night when he was in high school. Needless to say, they weren't asked back. Holy terror. The little spoiled rich kids just think they're tough till the hammer hits him. If the US didn't have football, baseball and basketball we would dominate soccer AND hockey. Imagine Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, Charles Barkley, Michael Vick and Deion Sanders on the same soccer field with Shaquille O'Neal in the net.

He needs to try Rugby.
You're right. He would love it. He has loved contact since he was 6. No fear. He taught himself how to long snap in the 7th grade so he could drill punt returners.

It's sad that it takes a foreigner to appreciate what we native Americans have in this country. I for one am filled with gratitude for winning the lottery and being born here. I would die for it as I would be dying for my loved ones who also love this country. Only the socialists in my family (only a few) fail to see how great they have it but when you suggest living somewhere else they will not leave, they only gripe.

Those videos were great and I wished every person who hates this country would get a taste of what other nationalities see that they don't.

God bless America.

Well, soccer wasn't invented in America, lol.

They do the fake injuries to try to get penalties called on the other team. It rarely works.

I loved the VAR review last night that gave the Paraguayan player a yellow for simulation. Hopefully that discourages players from doing it so much the rest of the tournament. It won’t, but a man can hope.

There is a dude from Germany, who has never been to America before, posting on X about his 6 week trip here for the WC. Dude is highly impressed with practically everything, and is a hoot to follow.

He also reminds us of all the good things about this country that many here fail to remember.

You dudes are behind the times. I played soccer in college. In the 1960s.

USA is off to a good start. Up 3-0 on Paraguay at the half. In soccer, that is a total blowout.

Of course, the WC schedulers gave us a big break with our original Group (D), so we could be assured to get out to the next round.

I played intramural soccer in college. Don't really care for it. However, you have to be in excellent shape to play.

I had forgotten how much those guys embellish contact...I think it's even worse than before.

They review for flops now. They switched a yellow card to the flopper in our game last night.

If you watch enough of it, you’ll fall in love.

Try to not just watch the ball but watch how players without the ball move on the pitch.

That was my advantage. I couldn't outrun anybody, but I could still run at the same speed at the end of the match as at the beginning, when everybody else was grabbing their shorts.

I ran in the Peachtree Road Race (10K) a few times, and my wife met me at the end. Every time, she would point out that I wasn't even breathing hard.

Of course, now I can't walk to the end of the house and back without breathing a little harder, but I'm also closing in on 80.

That dude is funny as hell, and doesn't even try. He's like a kid in a candy store for the first time in his life.

Now let's see how he handles instant fame.

Apparently, letting junkies DlE ON THE SIDEWALKS is the leftist way of “showing humanity”

There are PLENTY of officers here around Penn Station and MSG to do it. But they’re not allowed to do much at all.

Penn Station is the primary transit hub for FIFA fans traveling to MetLife Stadium for World Cup games. And this is the first thing they see.

Pitiful.
