RE: Golf
I really like ACU's golf clubhouse, practice range and short game practice field, and all three are located on campus, and are part of the Byron Nelson's facility. The Nelson family was fond of ACU. Add the city's two fine golf courses (one an ex-PGA tourney course that has been lengthened and upgraded.) Not many could claim better facilities. Adding Tarleton's coach is really impressive and I am glad he is now ACU's coach. Thank you, Texans. ACU has really become a rocket university in many ways. Now that we have the government's commitment for the exact uranium fuel we need, the accolades will continue to pile up. We used to say we just wanted a football team our physics department could be proud of, now we need to come up with a different statement.

New Tarleton men’s coach. He is coming from East Texas A&M.

Nothing screams success like placing 5th in the SLC the past two years!

Just remember ET A&M was going thru the D2 to D1 transition period so a 5th place finish might be pretty good.

RE: Golf
Yeah, Tarleton had rough success in its transition, so I'd let a couple of years pass before making a statement.
