Not sure which side is gonna give here. Didn't expect vegas to do this well this year. If their goaltending holds, their Defense can apparently shut down almost anybody. Still those are big 'ifs'. Carolina has looked unstoppable save for 1 game with 11 days of rust.

Hope it will go 6 or seven at least. Vegas is playing with house money at this point. Pressure seems more on Carolina to get the job done.

just didn't have the right feel tonight. Weird game. I think Carolina will get dividends from using two goalies. Close, but no cigar. Goning to have to try to win another one on the road. Canes played well, didn't flinch. Good team there as well. Kinda a shame one has to lose. Both deserving of the title this year.

Wow! Canes played great defense tonight. Carter Hart has been amazing, not playing for two years, then barely at the end of the season, to go every game, with no breaks from his backups, every playoff night and get to the Stanley Cup Final, hats off to Mr. Heart!

Finally got a roster that was mentally and physically tough enough to do it along with actually being healthy this time. I think the grind of the last 8 years of coming up empty fueled these guys to finish this in 6 and now wait till game 7 to do it.

But very happy it wasn't the golden knights. That's not because they beat the Avs, I just really don't like them.

In a classless move for the ages, Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon included the names of his five children at the top of the engraving on the Stanley Cup, and at the same time left Joel Nystrom, who played in 38 games for the 'Canes this season, off of it completely. Way to tarnish what should be a team-wide celebration of their Championship.

Dundon is a scum bag—I was so mad when he bought the AAF just to shut it down a few weeks later while retaining the technology they developed.
