RE: NEC transfer portal activity
Regarding the post above, which I will try my best to keep updated as more players may enter, and as players sign with new schools.

My take on things. In most cases, I’m assuming a lot of the players will indeed sign elsewhere, based on history in NEC programs.

Central Connecticut got hit HARD. The loss of Darin Smith is devastating, especially since he was just a sophomore. Jay Rogers is pretty bad too.

New Haven took a big hit. About 26 ppg gone. Not sure exactly how this will affect a new D1 with only one season under their belts.

Mercyhurst will be affected, but I think they will be alright as they have some very good players returning, especially Jake Lemelman. And their coach has been around a long time, knows what he’s doing, and in my book, is the best coach in the NEC.

LeMoyne can survive this without too much of a dip.

Other schools should be minimally affected, but so far, Chicago State appears to be the big winner as things stand today. Things could change…

LIU just has the one player in the portal that could make a difference, but their problem is a lot of their top talent were seniors.

As I have time, I’ll try to go thru and list out all of the seniors leaving the various programs. It’s a significant amount.

That by itself is pretty impressive.
