Mississippi mom shoots a monkey
God's Country

"I shot at it and it just stood there, and I shot again, and he backed up and that's when he fell."

Really starting to like Mississippi.

Reminds me of an old friend that had a full sized hunting poodle that tree'd a south american monkey in the Hatchie bottoms years ago, but i digress...

My second favorite dog ever was a full sized Standard poodle, weighed over 60 pounds. He was a gentle soul, unless another dog took a step toward me, lol.

Then he would act very un-poodle like.

Little known fact: poodles were hunting dogs before democrat filth started having them

Read it on the interwebs.

People that own Labradoodles have no idea what they have. My daughter bought a Miniature labradoodle puppy earlier this year and my SIL is a big dove hunter from East Central AL. He is training her already. Very smart dog and loves to fetch. He will have a dove hunting buddy for years to come.

I told the guy he was full of it and he brought me the newspaper article where a zoologist from memphis identified the monkey. It was a south american monkey tree'd by the hunting poodle. Stranger than fiction

His stories were so great..

I love the one where they were talking about getting electricity in the little church where his uncle or grandfather was a deacon. They had a big meeting and one woman was saying they should get a chandelier, and how much it cost.. Just keep going on and on. At the end they asked were there any comments.. The family member stood up and said:

1. We should get electricity first
2. We can talk about a chandelier after we have electricity
3. Does anyone in the church know how to play a chandelier?

Yep. They were there together in the late 1940s. Right after the war. My uncle had served in the Army. Clower was in the Navy.

And there was a reason for their fur cuts then to. And it wasn’t for suburban moms either.

This made me recall a duck dynasty episode where Si gets a poodle for retrieving ducks.

My son has a 7 month old Spimone Italiano...great upland bird dog and smart as a whip....when it's not in the field the tail never stops. Sweet dog but it's like a kid with ADHD on pixie sticks. I've literally never seen it sleep. You look in kennel and it's always alert watching you.

And it is easier to establish dominance with a gun!

Some of them get the best of lab and poodle, some get the worst. Then you have the individual variation.

Labs that don’t shed and have less genetic propensity for hip dysplasia and laryngeal paralysis sounds like the perfect dog, unfortunately individual results vary.
