Is it really that surprising that half or more of our kids lack consideration for the sanctity of life, given that we have been buying them violent video games glorifying death and destruction for a quarter of a century, sending them to movies filled with violence, and abdicating our parental responsibilities to the public education system? What did we think was going to happen to them?

Good point, it ultimately is a parental issue first, and teachers (to a point) second.

What the Left fails to realize is Charlie was a moderate. He believed they could be saved. He was a friend of the Left. Unlike most Conservatives, Charlie would have never thought of shooting back.
