Bwahahahaha, I never thought I'd be taking so much crap either.

I'm lucky; I take 3-4 meds daily with magnesium, zinc, potassium, and D3 supplements. I don't mind the meds nearly as much as I detest my body shutting down on me. Things are no longer easy for me. Where I used to spring out of bed and hit the ground running, now there are no springs attached. I did run down my driveway last week chasing a runaway push mower. At least I was trying to run; it probably looked more like I was having a seizure. I used to heal quickly; I had darn good recuperative powers. These days, not so much.

Still, I am blessed when I put myself beside most of my contemporaries, many of whom do not enjoy the good health I enjoy even after going through chemo and radiation. Ten months out from my last treatment, and I feel better every day. They told me it would take 2 years. They didn't know me very well.

If I didn't suffer from lower back pain that never goes away, I'd be golden. But I've learned to live with it. It's kind of like having an irritating friend who you want to punch in the mouth more often than not.

at 60.4 yrs. I can't begin to describe how much better yours is than thine ... from me fingers to me toes, it's inconsolable at times ... I would only wish it upon muh worst of enemas...

chronic degenerative joint/disc pain coupled with arthritis from head to toe is a nightmare I can barely wake out of ... it really sucks when sober...

some days, self torture with a needle under the fingernail is more soothing ... #sigh

yeah, stink played hard over the decades ... today and any forward is muh penance ... 04-cheers
