Many prominent democrats promoted the nationwide protests. Former Vice President Kamala Harris encouraged her party to take to the streets, writing in a post on Friday, "Tomorrow, October 18, I encourage you to join your neighbors in peaceful protest at a No Kings event."

Here in Atlanta, they had several events planned, scattered around the metro, but I’m hearing that attendance ranged from “meh” to “basically nobody”. Even the hardcore Trump-haters seemed to have little appetite to act out this particular charade.

One of my local TV stations just gave about 5 minutes to the No Kings rally, concentrating on the one in DC, since the one here was pretty small. All positive to the Ds, all negative to the Rs, of course.

These people have no solutions or new ideas. They just hate Trump.

At least us old Cons are wise enough to spend our time doing constructive things. The only thing we'll leave behind is our love for our real King, Jesus, to our loved ones.

The young people don't care either. They're more interested in causing destruction and mayhem for clicks and views on social media.

There was a decent sized protest in a suburb near me yesterday- my youngest had a game nearby. A lot of the kids were late due to the fact the protestors were blocking traffic. Heard more than one parent say they lean left, but this was BS.
