Trump had nothing to do with coming up with the medical conclusions. Those were docs at the NIH. The WH was full of them yesterday, standing by Trump and RFKJ as Trump made the announcement.

The fact that the rise in autism in children correlates to the rise in Tylenol usage is enough to at least raise an eyebrow, even if there werent studies already out there.

There's a huge difference between saying they need to do some more research to figure out if some of the correlation that's shown up in past studies bears out to proof vs the definitive statement Trump made. Especially since there is literally no other option currently for pregnant women to take for pain/fever reduction.

Until Trump forces OSHA to go door to door and remove Tylenol from pregnant mothers, then I don’t see why it’s so outrageous. Women can do whatever they want. Ignore it and move along.

Well is it worth the risk. That is the real question.

Since none of you lefties seem to do research on your own, all the docs did yesterday was endorse the view espoused by some researchers in the medical community that autism and Tylenol (acetaminophen) have at least a casual link, and more research needs to be done.

It's certainly not a unanimous view. Others are skeptical.

As for doctors, off the top of my head, I saw McCary, Bhattacharya and Oz there. Could have been others, but I wouldn't recognize them.

Yes, what he said was something like, "Personally, I wouldn't take it. Don't take it." But there were at least 3 doctors in that room endorsing that viewpoint. That's what the whole announcement was about. There appears to be at least a casual link between Tylenol and autism, and to be safe, don't take it if you have any concerns.
