They have his DNA on the screwdriver, on the rifle trigger, on other parts of the rifle, on the towel, etc. His parents recognized him from the photos. It is his grandfather's rifle, which was gifted to him.
If somebody in LE concocted the texts for some reason, it's the dumbest move in LE history. My guess is they simply retyped the words and put it in a summary, and lost the specific words that would sound more like the shooter.
You KNOW the actual text messages did not say "Robinson" and "Roommate," as the publicized text string did. Anybody can think what they want, but I'll stick to all the other evidence as proof of what happened.
All this brouhaha around the text string is nothing but pure speculation at this point. And if for some reason, some idiot made up the texts, just tear the damn thing up, don't introduce it in the trial, and convict him on all the other evidence. Good grief.
Its called desperation.

It's not whacko. And that's kind of the problem. It's that it's too rational and too matter of fact and offers exactly every single thing needed. Placement, motive, weapon used, location of the weapon, where it was obtained from, etc. It's like here LE and prosecution please allow me to do the job for you.
All of that leads me to the place that it is not inconceivable that even if he's the one that pulled the trigger it has the hallmarks of a broader plot with someone else behind the curtain. There's just something not adding up here primarily because everything is too neat.

I don't think anyone is going to argue that there isn't a possibility of others being involved. So what? If so, then there is more investigative work to be done.
But some are implying that the text messages were made up, which is the only thing I am objecting to. IMO, that's a dumb take, and awful stupid if somebody actually did that, which would jeopardize the entire investigation and case against Robinson. I don't buy it.
RE: Charlie Kirk Shot In The Neck and Killed, RIP, Then Game On
More details are being reported this morning. Supposedly, Robinson had driven out into the southern Utah desert to commit suicide, but his parents convinced him to come back home, and turn himself in.
Here's the ridiculous part. In order for him to agree to surrender, he made some demands on the police. He asked that the police be "gentle" to him, and also asked that a SWAT team not come down on his parents' property. He apparently was concerned about the safety of his family.
Too damn bad he didn't show some of that same concern toward Charlie Kirk's family.
So when he showed up with his dad at the police station, they set the little bastard on a comfortable couch and talked for 3 hours, didn't handcuff him, and provided him with water, restroom breaks, etc.
Whatever it takes, I guess.

I'm not saying they were altered by LE. I'm saying they were fabricated in the first place potentially with Robinson in on it as a conspirator. There's no way those messages are authentic in the moment.
The so what is big as far as I'm concerned, because it implies there is a broader conspiracy behind this to eliminate Charlie rather than just a disgruntled tranny lover. That question, that issue matters. The truth matters. And those messages are not.

Ok, who is arguing against that? I have thought all along that it's likely others could be involved. If they are, then eventually they will likely be found.
And if it turns out nobody else is involved, then we have what we have. It's not like us discussing either possibility, or lack thereof, is going to actually have any effect on the investigation. It's just us in here chatterboxing.
Therefore, so what? We're not the ones out there working on the case. THAT was what I meant by "so what."
NOT that it didn't matter if others were involved. Of course it does. But we have no juice in the game ourselves. Either it's a part of it, or not. Okay, fine. They will figure that out eventually.

What exactly is "boomer" about the texts? Not every 22 year old writes gen Z code when he texts. My understanding is this is 1500 SAT kind of kid---so maybe he was a little more traditional in the way he writes. If they are fake---they were faked by the roommates's and the only purpose would be that they are trying to keep the transitioning kid out criminal jeopardy. Either way---its not an FBI trust issue. I dont think these two are the great criminal minds of our century. If they are in on it together, my guess is they have slipped up in a million ways they never even thought to consider---which will eventually get uncovered.

So your suggesting they planned to leave the gun near the scene for the cops to discover? That seems fairly unlikely to me.

Exactly, this is a suburban kid from Utah not a gangbanger from Chicago
Its kind of odd people here are basically saying their texts are too "white" or "proper"

Im actually amused by it.

Exactly. That's why I kept ignoring the "Shakespearean texts" thing Chickenhorse Man kept bringing up. (And he's 22 years old, which legally makes him an adult. Granted, a really young adult, but an adult, nonetheless.)

I mean they could have improvised some, but the basic gist of it is "you better act REALLY surprised so you won't be complicit."

All the stuff about little bits of evidence do not matter. All that matters is can the DA convince 12 people he did it and were all laws followed so he doesn't get a mistrial. I don't think he is going to find 12 sympathetic people in Utah.
RE: Charlie Kirk Shot In The Neck and Killed, RIP, Then Game On
I still am having problems about the shooting. When I first saw it, it was pretty obvious to me the bullet came from the right and exited Charlie's neck on the Left. Blood immediately came out of his right ear. Also, it went through his spine because of his contortion. How is that possible from a shot that was directly in front of him and a few degrees to his left?
