We're not Facebook friends, he just posts everything Public where anyone can see it. He has no idea I do this.
He was the one that called me and told me about Kirk. He was very, very upset. I had no idea he even knew who Kirk was. All of our young people are not communists, no matter what everyone tries to tell us.
This was on his page from yesterday, bringing yet another tear to my eye.

If that’s you, if you’re celebrating a father of two young children being murdered in broad daylight, first of all go **** yourself and while you’re at it, realize that you’re just as much of a “nazi” as you claim others are if you agree with or celebrate this kind of violence. Second, delete me cuz I don’t need people like you in my circle, even just a Facebook circle.

1. A 30-06, in my experience, sounds like a cannon. The sound of the gunshot from the video sounds like a clack… more like a .223 or .556. Why would an assassin capable of making that 300 yard shot use a deer rifle?
2. Why wouldn’t the sniper simply and inconspicuously leave that boat oar of a rifle on the roof? Did he fire once from 300 yards… then calmly wrap the long gun in a blanket… deposit that gun in the woods… only to return to campus and have his pic taken in a parking garage?
It wasn't a 300 yard shot. It was more like 150. I'm basing this of actually measuring where he and Kirk were. You can see it on Google Earth and measure really easily.

Missing by 12 inches left and either high or low at 200 yards is how native Americans say "empty freezer for bad hunter".
FBI agent said a couple of hours ago that, based on the shooter's position, the height of the tent overhang, and the fact that Kirk is 6-5 and was sitting up on a chair that lifted him way above his desk, that the neck is probably as high as the shooter could visibly aim.
That supposedly leaves the chest, but apparently, the angle the shooter had presented the neck more readily than the chest.
If true, the shooter took the best shot he had.
Another point. So much info has changed so often that I wouldn't trust anything being reported at the moment.
FWIW---seeing a lot of conjecture that the bullet actually hit the top of his bulletproof vest and richocheted off the steel breastplate with a bullet shard actually doing the damage to his neck. I have no idea---other than knowing bullet spalling after hitting something hard like steel can happen.

I heard about that today but the problem is some (not here) posted a still picture of him and you could see one of his nipples poking out his shirt. But hey, you know how it is now days. You can't believe everything you hear or see on the net.

Wanna talk about it? Make a thread about it. Don't derail this one.
Only reason I brought it up was so many in this thread are saying the left is violent and needs to be stopped, I was asking to what lengths should the government go to stop it?
What is the job of our government? Protect the lives and property of the citizens, uphold its laws, and do it all within the Constitutional framework. Our job is to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. Freedom of speech is a right and since this was a scheduled event that right had been approved. The gunning down of any public speaker regardless of whether what they have to say is popular or not, is a protected right and the one committing the murder to stop it is not only guilty of murder, but the attack is upon the Constitution itself in that the motive was to silence the ideas of the speaker.
People would know this if the responsibilities of citizens, the function of government, and the application of law were still taught the minions of braindead parrots of socialist tripe promulgated as education in the public school system. If they were actually educated by the schools tasked with teaching them their role as citizens or responsibilities of government to them and they to government, and obedience of the law for the common good things would be better. But hell, they don't even to teach them to read and writer well, to use their language properly, to add, subtract, multiply or divide in the heads, or the actual non politicized history of their nation.
99% of the social ills in this nation are traceable to the agenda of the NEA. Just teach and quit indoctrinating and we'll be fine regardless of our differences. The agenda of schools needs to return to being a local school board's responsibility so that parental rights return to the supervision of their children's education.
But the function of government and the citizens relationship to it is not the topic of this thread. The public murder of Mr. Kirk is.
Three area teachers were fired today because of their own ignorance and insensitivity posting in social media towards Charlie Kirk
One of the teachers was to given a warning but the outrage of the parents and some local politicians proved to be her demise.
Administrators felt she was too big of a distraction and taking away from the education process.
One of my best friends since high school has been a teacher his whole life and he told me years ago social media is the enemy of anyone teaching in public school. Stay off it.

RE: Charlie Kirk Shot In The Neck and Killed, RIP, Then Game On
Quote:Charlie Kirk was truly one of a kind. A kind, loving, and courageous soul who lived what he preached. His view that our political, social, and spiritual differences should be debated freely and respectfully was something he put into practice every day — a living embodiment of the vision our founders had for our country.
The person who shot Charlie Kirk sought to silence him, using violence to take away his freedom of speech by ending his life and to terrorize those who think like Charlie into silence. This evil act is the very definition of terrorism: an unlawful use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political or "religious" aims.
Today, on the anniversary of 9/11, we recognize that whether it's Islamists like al-Qaeda, or the fanatics who try to stop Charlie Kirk and others from speaking the truth by banning them from campuses and ultimately by assassination, the one thing they have in common is that they are so afraid that their arguments, views, and policies will not stand when challenged in free and open debate, that they resort to violence — not only to silence the people they want to shut up but to terrorize everyone else into silence.
Charlie Kirk stood up to such fanatics who hate freedom and want to silence any who dare to challenge the so-called "liberal" establishment. This assassin killed him to prevent his voice from being heard, prevent him from inspiring others, as he did every day, and to terrorize and intimidate the American people into silence.
I was sickened, but not surprised, when I saw the propaganda media like MSNBC react by encouraging and justifying this evil. Within minutes of the shooting, they said, Charlie "brought it upon himself.” They said the very same thing about President Donald Trump after both assassination attempts on his life. And the Islamists who attacked us on 9/11 also make the same argument—i.e. that 'the American people deserved the attack.' What they're really telling us is: shut up, be quiet, or face the consequences.
We cannot allow their darkness and evil to perpetuate. Charlie truly loved our country and dedicated his life to protecting our God-given rights. We must honor his life's work, and the promise of America, by continuing to lift our own voices and defend our God-given freedoms enshrined in our Constitution.
I'm devastated that Erika lost her husband today, their children lost their father, and so many of us lost a dear friend. Our nation lost one of our greatest champions of freedom. I pray Charlie is now able to rest in the warm embrace of God's love. He will be dearly missed.

Im sitting here looking at the newest photos of the suspected assassin. It appears he/she has long hair and it was tucked into that ballcap. His/her features almost appear effeminate. Could it be a female?
