BTW, UTGV sold out again - 12,447. They are 4-0, 1-0 against DI.
5,402 saw SFA beat Cal Poly.

The SLC went 1-3 against FCS and 1-6 overall against DI yesterday.

10,133 was ACU's 10th largest crowd, and Family Weekend definitely helped. I knew we wouldn't beat Tarleton, but we did fairly well. I just hope we can keep this up if we keep playing well.

RE: 2025 football attendance
When ACU and Tarleton play records be damned it’s going to be a brawl no matter the rankings.

Excitement brings crowds. Winning brings excitement. It is about the easiest formula there is.

UTRGV will get their first real test next in SE Louisiana

Up until this point they basically played D3 schools and a weak HBCU program

I expect the road to start getting rough as the season progresses

RE: 2025 football attendance
I fully expect the Lions to run away. That said, even though I expected a win, I didn't expect such huge wins over Sul Ross, Langston and Texas Wesleyan. I did expect a loss in their only FCS game and was surprised their too. Maybe in the portal era, building a program isn't the same.
