The nozzles from Tractor Supply comes with a vent cap you can put in that hole you drill.

I've bought new nozzle's from Tractor Supply and they work great. They are EX-POUR. The ones that come with cans today are ****.

I have a 5 gallon and a 1 gallon Scepter cans.

I removed the hard white plastic flame arrestor from them with a flathead screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers. Did the same with a white mesh net for another brands version of the spark arrestor, just ripped it right out.
