If enviornmentalists are worried about gas fumes leaving the cans just make a hole with a stopper. When you're done using the can just plug up the hole. You don't need a fancy stopper, a cork or branch cut to size will do the job.

But I am in agreement here...those new cans are atrocious. Especially if you're trying to fill a car that ran out of gas.

Tractor supply sells replacement nozzle that work just like the ones we grew up with. If you don’t have one near you they sell them online. F the new gas cans.

I guess since they don’t come with a can they’re legal.

First thing I do with a gas can is drill a hole right above the handle so I have a vent.
